Walmart Adds Wetzel’s Pretzels to Foodservice Options at SoCal Store Amid Wider Rollout

Walmart has added a Wetzel’s Pretzels in-store shop at its store in Porter Ranch, Calif., the company said last week. The move is part of Wetzel’s strategy to expand in high-traffic retail environments, such as Walmart stores.

The new Wetzel’s Pretzels shop will add to the chain’s presence in Walmart stores in California, where a Wetzel’s shop opened in Sacramento in November.

“Our ongoing expansion into Walmart locations highlights the flexibility of our concept, allowing us to reach even more communities nationwide,” said Jon Fischer, head of development at Pasadena, Calif.-based Wetzel’s Pretzels.
