Wetzel’s Pretzels opens in California Walmart

Wetzel’s Pretzels has opened a new bakery inside the Porter Ranch Walmart at 19821 Rinaldi St. in Porter Ranch, California, marking the brand’s latest expansion into high-traffic retail environments, according to a press release.

The location is the first for operator Chris Izaguirre, who joined the company six years ago as a team member and previously served as a general manager at the South Coast Plaza location in Costa Mesa.

“As I step into my next career venture with the brand, having the continued opportunity to grow with Wetzel’s Pretzels is extremely special,” Izaguirre said in the press release. “Being able to open my first location is a great accomplishment, and I look forward to serving the Porter Ranch community with delicious products and delivering a quality experience.”
